Get Up and Dance

All over the city, ordinary people were doing what ordinary people do best. Lounging. Slouching. Sighing.

Then the music began.

From every corner of the world came dancers, and nothing was ever quite so sleepy again. Salsa sweeps across a living room rug. Hip-hop bursts between office cubicles. Samba thunders into the gym. Ballet arrives in a waiting room, tap dancers board the morning train, and flamenco echoes between the library shelves.

One by one, the whole city catches the rhythm. Milo, Priya, Raj, Mina, Dev, Ms. Ofelia, Walter, and Rosalind all discover the same wonderful thing: you do not have to be graceful, and you certainly do not have to be perfect.

You just have to stand up and try one step.

Because your body was built to move. Your day was built to be enjoyed. So whenever the music finds you, wherever you happen to be standing, get up and dance.
